Story & Art Book Building is an immersive creative class designed to help children develop storytelling skills while expressing themselves through writing and visual art.
Students write, illustrate, and complete their own original storybook, guided step-by-step through the creative process. Along the way, they strengthen essential ELA skills—such as vocabulary, grammar, and narrative structure—naturally and effortlessly through story-based creative writing.
Art is woven into every stage of the process. Children learn both basic and advanced illustration techniques, including painting, drawing, and coloring, using art as a powerful tool to communicate ideas, emotions, and dreams.
Group sharing is an important part of the experience, helping students build communication skills, confidence, and comfort expressing their voice in a supportive environment.
📖 End-of-Program Celebration:
Each student participates in a special book reading, sharing their completed story and artwork with pride.
Class Details: • Ages: 7–12 • Schedule: Thursdays at 3:00 PM • Duration: 1–2 hours per class

This class supports creativity, literacy, and self-expression—while leaving each child with a finished storybook they created themselves.
